A Hat Full of Sky by Terry Pratchett
407 pages
Book 2 of the Tiffany Aching series
The more I read of Pratchett, the more impressed I am. This book is seriously laugh out loud funny, with the Feegles back in full swing.
Tiffany is 'helping with the chores', which translates into 'doing all the chores' with Miss Level while she learns about 'witching'. She learns that being a witch has a lot more to do with helping others, and taking responsibility for your actions as opposed to doing magic. I am already half way through the third book, and I love the fact that there is not a lot of recapping the story through the books. The story picks up very seamlessly. Cannot wait to read some of Pratchett's other novels.
