What a treat this book was!  It was so nice to read about how this book impacted people.  Like many of them, To Kill A Mockingbird is a benchmark for me.  I actually wrote to Harper Lee when I was about 13 or 14 years old.  Never heard back, of course but I tried.  So wonderful to know that there is an entire community who love this book.  (Did you know that it's never been out of print?  How amazing is that?)
